moan 03:54
i conceal nothing my dear philosopher king the rain though quiet cannot hide that it’s wet i’m over pleasure that venomous little flower i’ve had my fill but appetite remains i’ve syphoned the pus but the wound still drains i found the break but can’t set the bone i don’t feel the ache but find I’m the source of the moan fatal flaw hold pain dear i can dig it real deep this pit of despair and there build a bonfire to burn this coat of arms and lock of your hair i’ve had my fill but appetite remains i’ve syphoned the pus but the wound still drains i found the break but can’t set the bone i don’t feel the ache but find i’m the source of the moan

save yourself time will come for me i’ll be here or there eventually i’d move if I thought it wouldn’t hurt and live a life of adventure but some days some days some days really do a number rocky mountain headed boy the specter of waiting had me overjoyed and i went back to the scene of the crime man did we know how to have a good time to kiss to kiss is to confess what truths did pass between our lips but i waited i waited i waited so long ‘til the waiting ran out the waiting was gone rocky mountain headed boy the specter of waiting had me overjoyed and I went back to the scene of the crime man did we know how to have a good time

about

The band's second album, Save Yourself, is deliciously thick and darker than its predecessor. Obsessive in content and grungier in its execution, every song is reclamation, recovery, or a warning of some kind. The album is a sort weather system that delivers to us a gaggle of Harpies, who—instead of being ancient harbingers of doom—come to us in a kind of timeless glory, wearing blue sequined jackets and knee high socks, ready to kiss, dance, or punch. They skate around the roller rink, scheming, while the clouds overhead crackle and glow.
