we were staying the weekend at driftless books and music during the onset of winter, to shoot a video for "voodoo ranger." the space was cold and the lights we used for the shoot helped to warm the space. we all went outside to take a break and, as is often the case, i went for a little walk by myself. the image of the warehouse in silhouette was both beautiful and lonely, and made me think about some things.
